Letter not found, but M's letter of 15 November 1890 was registered with the precis, 'Re plan shewing geological features of recently explored country for expedition to the interior &c' (GRG35/16, 1890, no. 10946, indexes of letters received, Department of Lands, State Records of South Australia, Adelaide). M was involved at this time in the preparations for the Elder Scientific Expedition of 1891-2.
duly received, I will make a point of seeing the Government Geologist on the subjects named by you on that officer's return to Town.
