MS annotation, 16 February 1891: 'One room in brick about 16.0 x 14.0 to be erected
separate from other buildings'; the estimated cost is given as £180.
On 23 February the Secretary of Public Works noted for M's information: 'Estimated
& returned for signature & approval of Minister'. M forwarded the requisition on 25
February 1891 'For favorable consideration submitted to the honorable the Chief Secretary'.
On 3 March 1891 a Treasury offical minuted: 'An account for the sum of £33-0-6 has
been charged against this vote of £180 Treasury Voucher 7457 of 8/9/90'. The next
day Wilson asked: 'What for?' An extra note marked 'Account of W. H. Williams', presumably
from the Treasury, lists the account [layout not reproduced here]:

The description of the purposes for which the amounts were incurred, together with M to T. Wilson, 12 March 1891, indicates that these were the costs of the repair of the Museum, approval minuted on M to A Deakin, May 1889 (in this edition as 89-05-00).
