MS found with a specimen of Thismia rodwayi (MEL 224473), collected by Rodway at Derwent (Mt Wellington), Tas, November 1890. MS accompanied by M's diagnostic notes and description and a pencil drawing of the flower of the specimen, and an envelope marked: 'Botanic Specimen only Baron F Von Mueller K.C.M.G. &c &c. Government Botanist Melbourne. From L. Rodway.' The post office stamps are indistinct.
The species was described in B90.12.01, pp. 115-6.

Herewith result of a whole days search, one flower one bud & pieces of rhizome also portion of root of with starchy nodules.
I presume plant belongs to branch of s.
