AGr. Halten Sie diese Pfl. als dort einheimsich? Sind die Blumen (die Petala) weiss oder gelb? An Ihren Exemplaren erscheinen sie weiss, aber die mögen nur verbleicht sein.

AGr. Do you think that this plant is native to that area?

There is no specimen with this record number in MEL (AVH, accessed 2 June 2022). There is one Malvastrum, un-numbered, attributed to Holtze in 1890, identified as M. coromandelianum, a synonym of the name given here.
Are the flowers (that is, the petals) white or yellow? On your specimens they appear to be white, but these may well be bleached.
