Möchte rathen, verehrter, Herr Doctor, dass eine Decade australischer Characeen versuchsweise ausgearbeitet und veröffentlicht würde durch Ihre meisterhafte Behandlung. Sollte Ihnen dafür Zeit übrig sein, so möchte ich fragen, wieviel Kosten eine solche Decade verursachen würden, u wieviel die Subsidie für 100 Exemplare sein müsste. Wenn der Anfang gemacht sein wird, würde auch wohl an eine Weiterführung u Vollendung zu denken sein.

Should time remain for you for it, I should like to ask how much cost such a decade would entail and how much the subsidy must be for 100 copies. When the beginning will be made, [I] would be thinking of a continuation and completion.
