Letter not found. The text given here is from a report of the meeting of the Medical Society of Victoria held on 3 September 1890, Australian medical journal, 15 September 1890, p. 390. Before the presentation of cases and papers, the meeting honoured Dr William Barker, 'on the completion of his fiftieth year of medical practice, and his forty-sixth year of practice in Victoria'.
