Letter not found. The text given here is from a report of the meeting of the South Australian Bureau of Agriculture on 8 September 1890, in Adelaide observer, 13 September 1890. p. 10. Molineux was Secretary of the Bureau.
[COAPIM GRASS.
The Secretary reported that he had received from Baron F. von Müller a root of the coapim grass which was said to be immensely superior as a fodder plant to the grass which had long been wrongly named here as (or Phillips grass, or Johnson grass). The Baron had identified our so-called Johnson or Phillips grass as sorghum halepense (aleppo grass), and the true had not, so far as the Secretary was aware, previously been introduced here.]

In another report of the meeting, South Australian register, 8 September 1890, p. 7, Molineux is reported as saying that the wrongly named grass was that which was 'cultivated at the Sewage Farm and elsewhere'.
