Diesmal, edler Freund, möchte ich die Frage an Sie stellen, ob Sie mir gütig Frucht tragende Exemplare von Ihren -, - u -Arten ablassen können, da ich gern die Grenzen dieser Gattungen auch nach ausseraustralischen Material ermitteln möchte, so namentlich auch die Art von den carnarischen Inseln mit guter Frucht. Sollten Sie aber und auch Hr Dr Schweinfurth nichts abzugeben haben aus Ihren Privat-Sammlungen, dann bemühen Sie sich nicht weiter, denn ich möchte Niemand sonst in dieser Hinsicht verpflichtet sein. Kann ich Ihnen etwas von hier senden?

Kleine Exemplare, die durch die Post kommen könnten, würde genügen. Mein Atlas der austr. Salsolaceen mit etwa 100 Quart-Platten, wird wohl Ende dieses Jahres fertig sein.

This time, noble friend, I would like to ask you whether you could kindly let me have fruit-bearing specimens of your , and species, because I would like to ascertain the boundaries of these genera according to extra-Australian material as well, thus particularly also the species from the Canary Islands with good fruit. However, should you and also Dr Schweinfurth have nothing to give up from your private collections, then do not trouble yourself further, because I would not like to be obligated to anyone in this regard. Can I send you something from here?
