that I determined after a hasty look as a . It was numbered 5. I now see that it is the variety caespitosa of Stellaria palustris.

In B89.05.03, p. 5, M recognised S. palustris as an earlier name of S. glauca, listed in Bentham (1863-78), vol. 1, p. 158, where Bentham also listed the variety caespitosa. See also B88.11.02, p. 166. The earliest formal combination for S. palustris var caespitosa listed by APNI (accessed 27 November 2020) is in J. Black (1922-9), p. 231.
