Nach weiterer Unterbrechung, lieber Herr Holtze, habe ich etwas mehr für Ihre letzten Pflanzen gethan. Ihre Hoya 1054 ist H. australis. Wir kannten solche bisher noch nicht von N. W. Australien, noch hatte Jemand vorher Frucht gefunden. Besitzen Sie mehr von der Frucht? N. 1010 ist eine

Ich habe solche zu Ehren unseres Landsmannes Dr Leibius benannt, der eben zum Präsidenten der Royal Soc von NSW erwählt ist, da die Beschreibungen Ihrer Pflanzen in den Transactions dieser Gesellschaft erscheinen werden. Sollten Sie Früchte finden, so möchte ich solche auch beschreiben. Überhaupt hätte ich gern mehr Exempl. von einer so merkwürdigen u. vielleicht auch sehr localen Pflanze. Von den Asclepiadeen 1050, 1051, 1052 u. 1055 schickten Sie gütig Blumen in Alcohol, aber ich vermisse die entsprechenden Herbarium-Exemplare. Auch möchte ich fragen, ob Sie dort mehr wie eine Art von

After further interruption, dear Mr Holtze, I have done some more on the last of your plants. Your Hoya No. 1054 is H. australis.

There are two specimens of this species at MEL, both with this number but one dated 1889 and the other 1890 (AVH, accessed 2 June 2020).
We have not known the plant from N. W. Australia so far, nor has anybody found the fruit before. Do you have any more of the fruit? No. 1010 is a
