from Mr J. P. Thomson, Hon. Treasurer and Hon. Secretary of the Queensland-branch
of the R.G.S.A., who likes to be exempted from the monetary obligations, which the
fellowship of the R.G.S. entails.

James Park Thomson was not a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society but was FRGS
Scotland.
