In reply to your kind letter,
dear Dr Gagliardi, I would advise that the Kon. Nederl. meteorol. Inst in Utrecht
may receive direct from you the "Myoporinae"
in return for its publications, with an intimation, that the volume with the descriptive
text had not yet appeared but would come later.

In the event, no such volume was published.
If you will send
me
a set of the Iconography of Australian Acacias,
so far as you have it, in return for the periodicals now forwarded, I shall feel
obliged. I will forward more publications, which I can spare here, in the course of
this month.

MS annotation dated 18 August 1890: 'A copy of the Myoporinae to be forwarded to Holland,
with an intimation that the text had not yet been published but when issued will be
forwarded. A copy of the "Australian Acacias" to be obtained from Mr. Neville and
forwarded to Baron von Mueller'. [Alfred Neville was an assistant at the Public Library,
his duties being described as having 'charge of newspaper room and of lending library,
and business pertaining thereto' ('Blue Book' for 1890, p. 39).] A letter was sent
to M on 19 August; letter not found but see M to F. Gagliardi, 20 August 1890. The Myoporinae was 'forwarded as desired' on 28 August.
Regardfully your
Ferd. von Mueller
