Letter not found. The text given here is from 'In the Storm King—Africa to Australia—Captain Jorgensen's daring feat', an account by Jørgensen of the voyage in the lifeboat he had invented, in the Australian star (Sydney), 15 July 1890.

Jørgensen's arrival in Albany, WA, on 29 June 1890 was reported in the Melbourne newspapers of 1 July, and M's telegram was probably sent that day or the next.
