Oliver (1891-5). Oliver's editorship began with vol. 20, Part 1 of which was issued
in March 1890.
I find in the last number of the Journal of Arts the Cyperus Pangorei noted as used
in Cochin for mats.
Would that refer to C. corymbosus or to some other species? Mr Clarke,
as a Cyperologist, might know. I am making renewed efforts for getting you the two
rare Verticordias from the interior of W.A.
Did the big Gymnoschoenus sphaerocephalus succeed?
Even if the results are negative, it would be well to know, as I might learn from
the successless trials something for further action.
