was in the public Library. By all means obtain it. I have been with him in communication, concerning Palms, for many years.

Kindly let me know , (so that I may early answer his letter), whether you could obtain the volumes, which are still available, and for which then the University of Cordoba could return an adequate number of its own, here unique, publications.

Neither the State Library of Victoria nor the Library of MEL holds any of the monographs by Fritz Kurtz, published after he emigrated to Argentina, that are listed in TL2. However, MEL holds a copy of Kurtz (1894), inscribed by the author: ‘Herrn Baron Ferdinand von Muller mit bestem Gruss’ [To Baron Ferdinand von Muller with best wishes].
If you could not manage this, then I must try to meet Prof Kurtz's wishes in some other way soon , but I would much prefer that the volumes be sent by you.
Regardfully your
Ferd. von Mueller
