[Baron Von Mueller has received a letter from Dr. Nansen, the well-known explorer of Greenland, who regrets that he cannot visit Australia this year, but hopes that the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia will be able to start an expedition to the Antarctic regions, which he expects to visit some day. What especially for him would have an attraction is the interior of the Antarctic ice cap, and winter in the Antarctic lands. He does not think the exploration of both difficult to gain, and considers that it would certainly yield results of scientific value.]
