T. R. Wilson Esqr,
Undersecretary.
Sir.
As the arrangements for my researches are so made in 1890, that I can resume also
the elaboration of the "fragmenta phytographiae Australiae", I have the honor to solicit
the permission of the honorable the Chief Secretary for the printing of the 12th vol.
at the Gov. Printing Office

Publication had ceased with B82.12.03, the first fascicle of vol. 12.
The Chief Secretary, C. Pearson, approved M's request on 7 December 1889. M returned
the file on 11 December 'with best thanks and with a solicitation, that the Gov. Printer
be instructed accordingly'. On 13 December, Wilson referred the file to the Government Printer 'to note the Minister's approval'
who acknowleged it the next day. The promised continuation of the
Fragmenta
did not eventuate.
I have the honor to be,
Sir, your obedient servant
