My dear Sir
I herewith forward a small box containing leaves and fruit of E. globulus obtained
from a bed of that species lately discovered near the Henty River on the surveyed
line of the proposed Zeehan railway.
As this is the first discovery of blue gum on the West Coast I thought it advisable
to send it to you for identification & record.
