I have the honor to inform you, that Mr Charles French has been instructed, to report himself to the Secretary of the Lands-Department on Monday, the 16th instant.

Charles French Snr had been appointed Government Entomologist. Wilson forwarded M's letter to the Secretary for Lands on 17 September 1889, who returned it 'with thanks' the next day.
