Ich erfahre so eben, dass am Arthur-Flusse ausnahmsweise (prachtvolle Proteacee) 25' hoch vorkommt, mit einem basalen Stammdurchmesser von 1'. Das sind freilich nur die halben Dimensionen der T. oreades in Ost-Gypsland. Da beide in subalpinen Regionen vorkommen, dürften sie neben manchen -Arten auch in milden Gegenden Deutschland's den Winter im Freien aushalten; z. B. in Wiesbaden. Wenn ich Samen von beiden frisch erlange, will ich Ihnen solche senden, da Sie ja am besten wissen, wer die Versuchs-Kulturen in Deutschland am sichersten vornehmen würde.

As both occur in subalpine regions, they might even endure the winter in mild regions of Germany alongside some species, e.g. in Wiesbaden. If I obtain seeds of both fresh, I will send them to you, as you will surely know best, who would undertake the cultivation trial in Germany most reliably.
