With the present post, esteemed Professor, I am sending you two parcels of algae that Miss Lodder has collected at the mouth of the Leven River in north Tasmania at my request . This young lady wants only the names of the numbered specimens; of the others she wants, as far as they are different from the numbered ones, a named specimen back. She will continue collecting. The locality is new.
