Herewith, dear Dr Bride, a few more medals, to be added to those in the library.
The two Royal Medals, (Gold and Silver) I like to keep along with the Decorations
from Sovereigns, til the remaining bid
of my earthly career will have come to an end. You will have received the two last
volumes of Prof Saccardo's Sylloge fungorum.
It is a very important and also very
costly
work. I am thankful, that you now send out the "Select plants" (7th Edition) and
Key I & II.
Both are eagerly expected abroad.
