The accompanying copy of a letter received from the Public Service Board respecting
the transfer of Officers in the Non-Clerical Division is forwarded for the information
and guidance of The Government Botanist.

I have the honor to inform you that the Board has decided that in future when Non-Clerical
Officers are transferred at their own request to other branches of the Non-Clerical
Division, they will be so transferred only at the minimum salary of the new position.
It is requested that applicants may be so informed and their acquiescence in this
arrangement notified in their applications when forwarding them to the Board.
