With reference to your memorandum of the 8th instant
enclosing a letter from Mr W. Fawcett F.G.S. of the Botanical Department, Jamaica,
W.I.
(herewith returned) and supporting the request of that gentlemen to be furnished
with a copy of the "Eucalyptographia" and of the "Iconography of Acacias", I beg to
inform you that the Premier has approved of the presentation, and Mr Fawcett has been
advised accordingly.
