Dear Baron
I send you by this post a sample of the dwarf Eucalypt which grows here and no where else in Gippsland and which I believe to be a form of E. Cosmophylla. At any rate I cannot make it agree with E. goniocalyx with which I am well acquainted and which grows here in its usual typical form.
I send the sample in a tin hoping that it will thus reach you in its fresh condition. In January this Eucalypt flowers and I will then forward you the blossom.
If convenient to you I will call to see you on Thursday morning the 22d inst. Do not trouble to write unless it should be inconvenient. I should like to examine samples of E. Amygdalina, E. cosmophylla, E. pillularis

E. pilularis?
and E. Haemastoma. The last collection I sent you and you said had not been arranged I should if not inconvenient to you like to compare.
I am dear Baron
yours faithfully
A W Howitt
P.S. I should also be obliged if you would let me again examine the N.S.W. example of E. piperita.
