Sir,
I have the honor by direction of the Hon. Minister of Lands to acknowledge, with thanks,
the receipt of your letter of the 11th Ulto
advising the shipment per "Tarawera" of a box of Tea Seed, received from Dr Trimen,
Ceylon and in reply am directed to transmit to you herewith a Post Office Order in
your favour, taken out by the Treasury Cashier (Mr W. T. Thane) for the sum of 17s
6d being refund of amount of transhipment charges paid by you.
