; denn es waren Ex. ohne Blüthen u Früchte, nach welchen ich die kurze Notiz gab. Ich danke für die Angabe der Seiten dieser Notizen, da ich solche quotiren will im Suppl zum Census. Ehe die Ausstellung vorüber sein wird, werde ich wohl nicht zu ruhigen litterarischen Arbeiten kommen. Mit dem Key bin ich nun zu den Liliaceen vorgerückt. Es wird für mich ein wahrer Freudentag sein, wenn er beendigt sein wird.

as they were specimens without flowers and fruits from which I gave the short note. I thank you for the details of the pages of these notes, since I intend to cite them in the supplement to the Census.

In B87.03.07, pp. 217-8, M cites this and other species from the 'fourth supplement' to B83.03.04, the manuscript of which was evidently 'ready' at the time of the 1888 Presidential address to the Field Naturalists' Club of Victoria in May (A. H. S. Lucas (1888), p. 5). The MS was not however published. The material would have been incorporated into B89.05.03, which included additions to the census for 1886, 1887, and 1889; this species is listed on p. 4.
