My dear Baron
I am very deeply sensible of the honor that you have caused to be conferred upon me,
and my election as an Honorary Corresponding Member to the Victorian Branch of the
Royal Geographical Society I shall always regard as one of the very many acts of kindly
attention that I have received from you. My endeavour will be to contribute a few
remarks at your next general meeting upon Central Australia.
