Dear Sir.

I shall be obliged if you will be so good as to inform me whether Volume I. of your Work on Myoporinous Plants has yet been published.

Volume II. was, I understand, issued before Volume I was ready.

The lithograms, described as 'volume 2', were issued as B86.08.05. In his reply to Sewell's inquiry (M to W. Sewell, 17 May 1888), M promised to do all he could to publish the planned textual volume in 1889, but the volume was never issued.
