Während der Zeit, geehrter Herr Tepper, in welcher ich als Neben-Arbeit den Key auszuarbeiten hatte, habe ich der eigentlichen Phytographie nur dem Zeit widmen können, wenn es sich um Feststellung von einigen noch ungewissen Arten handelte, wie bei
Haloragis

Da ich nun bald mit obgenannten Werke fertig bin u die Arbeiten für die Weltausstellung auch ja nach einigen Monaten erledigt sein werden, kann ich dann wohl, wenn nur die göttliche Wille noch weiteres Leben gestattet, auch wohl für die Flora Australiens beschreibend u benennend weiter wirken.

As I shall now soon be finished with the above-mentioned work and the work for the International Exhibition

has also been dealt with after some months, I can then probably, if only the Divine will permits further life, also continue working describing and naming for the Flora of Australia.
