Die Eucalypte, mit den röthliche Filamenten, welche Sie senden, geehrter Herr Tepper, ist die grossblüthige Form von E. gracilis. Die Art ist besser in den Fragm. u in der Eucalyptogr. beschrieben als in der Flora Austr. Wenn Jemand, den Sie kennen, nahe dem Platz wohnt, könnte er wohl Samen davon sammeln, da es eine nette Var. für Cultur in Park-Anlagen wäre.

ist eigentlich zu dürftig für critische Untersuchung; es mag eine der allgemeinen europäischen Arten sein, dort dann immigrirt.
Ihre Abhandlung ist per Post registrirt mit einem Beifolge-Brief von mir an den Secr. der Tasm R.S. bereits abgegangen.

esteemed Mr Tepper, is the large-flowered form of E. gracilis. The species is better described in the Fragmenta and in the Eucalyptographia than in the Flora australiensis.

If anyone you know lives near the place, he could probably collect seeds of it, as it would be a nice variety for culture in parks.

is really too meagre for critical investigation; it may be one of the common European species, then introduced there.
