May I ask, dear Mr Wilson, whether still any copies of Bentham's and my "Flora Australiensis"
are available at your office as surplus, the copy used for so many years here falling
to pieces; so I should be thankful for a set.

May I ask also for one set of the portfolios of specimens of the "educational collections
of dried plants.
About a dozen are yet of I & II in your sellar
(or II or III) — I forgot which — so perhaps one could come back to me.

there a complete set, or more [...]'. On 24 November, an unidentified departmental
officer noted: 'It is, evidently, judging by the preface to last volume herewith'.
