I have not felt at all well since yesterday, dear My Hyndman, and thus, much to my
regret, I shall be prevented, to attend at the festival, to which the Austr. Artists
Association me so generously invited.
Thus — I fear, that I may also be unable, to avail myself of the privilege, so kindly
conceded to me, of being present, while His Excellency and Lady Loch
and other distinguished personages will tomorrow inspect the new winter work of our
many clever artists.
