My dear Baron von Mueller,
Dr Atkinson,

H. L Atkinson.
who has a large property on the Terrick plains, tells me that the inclosed plant has been spreading rapidly and that the stock will not touch it. He is anxious to know its name, whether it is injurious and if it is likely to spread still more or will die out like the thistles. Probably in the absence of flowers or fruit it may be impossible to tell exactly what it is, but I shall be glad of any information you can give me. I suppose it is one of the common composites.
Believe me
very truly your
