It would have much more effect, dear Mr Maiden, if you telegraphed to Bäuerlen, than my doing so, to urge him on to get into the phytologically unexplored most N. W. corner.

He totally disregards hitherto all aquatic plants and even the minute annuals, which just at this moment are so readily available, are so easily collected, and amongst which would be most of interest as novel for our collections.
