Allow me, dear Mr Maiden, to send to you the money-order of £5, as a subsidy for Mr Baeuerlen during August.

As you have anyhow to send him funds from time to time, my addition to his travelling-resources might as well or better go with yours; indeed you are in a better position to forward to him at the earliest time and to the best adress, than myself. I did send him in due time the July subsidy of £5 in a money order to Wilcannia ,

His success so far as the phytography of N.S.W. is concerned depend on two points.
1, that he mainly and timely operates in the remotest N.W. corner of N.S.W., as repeatedly pointed out to him at the outset.
2, that he collects also all aquatic p lants and particularly also all minute annuals , even if shrivelled up. Among these will be most novelty for N.S.W. and indeed for general science also.
I still hope, that you and your friends get the path to the summit of Mt Seaview
