The first parcel of E. marginata about 12 lbs sent by J. G. Luehmann last year was of extremely bad quality

— it was mixed with sand and the seed itself so imperfect that the [actual] parcel yielded rather less than 800 plants so that the cost of labour was thrown away & what is more important a season has been lost. The second parcel has not been tried but we should make some return for the first.
