I have the honor, to transmit herewith a letter from General Liagre,
who is as Secretary of the Academy of Sciences of Brussels desirous, to complete
the series of my works in the academic Library. In stating on the next page, what
works — among those yet attainable — are still wanting, I beg to suggest, if the Government
is favorable to the wishes of the General, that this distinguished scientist be requested,
to send the recent volumes of the Royal Academy of sciences of Belgium in return to
the Melbourne public Library.
