I got a man to look at the vineyard and he said it was the " " caused through insufficient sulpher although I sulphered them two or three times. The grapes this year are all spoilt but nil desperandum

not despairing.

I will perhaps have better luck next year. I herewith send you a few of the deseased leaves.

Since the late heavy rains I could not find any of those grubs.
