Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 7th inst,

M to T. Kirk, 7 September 1886.
advising the shipment per S.S. "Manapouri" of one case, addressed to Professor Kirk, containing 50 lbs , 1 1/4 lbs , and 12 lbs .
In reply I have to inform you that the case has been received, and that drafts in favour of Mr. C. Walter, and Mr J. G. Luehmann for £ 26.7.0 and £ 7.10.0 respectively, will be posted to you at an early date.
