The park ranger had reported to Council that he had received parcels of seed from M. Councillor T. King proposed, and Councillor R. F. Kennedy seconded, that the above letter of thanks be sent to M (Minute book 11, p. 167, 7 September 1886, Town Council records, City of Warrnambool archives; The Warrnambool standard, 9 September 1886, p. 2).
