Annotated ‘Ansd. 7/9/86’.
I like to mention, dear Prof. Liversidge, that the genus (thus in Annal. & Magaz. of Nat. Hist., sec. ser. VII, 37, 1851) has become recently added to the Flora of Australia.

brings always out its issues so quickly. I here suffer very much also (I speak in confidence ) from the difficulty, to get my works published timely by the Gov. Printing Office, as necessarily Parliamentary work and Departmental Routine work must take precedence.
Our Roy. Soc has a grant annually, (I think it is £200) — that enables it to have its printing done in private Establishments; and in reality it is not an extra tax on the public treasury, as at the Gov. Printing Offices any where the work done entails always a distinct additional expenditure.
I hope, that the will not fall early in the hands of a phytographer abroad to be redescribed elsewhere.

B87.10.07 with the description of poranthera was read at the meeting of the Royal Society on 2 June 1886.
With regardful remembrance your
