MS found with a specimen of Grevillea baileyana (MEL 2171821) originally marked at MEL as . The letter is dated on the basis of an entry in Bailey’s letter register with this date, ‘ & Gre pinnatifida’ (In and out letter and packet book, letter register, Colonial Botanist, book 1, 1879-1894, Queensland Herbarium, Brisbane).

) seed & follicle and will hope to get more another year — And also another plant regarding which I may have made a mistake. I took it from the rather poor specimens to be your ,

MS annotation interlined by M: 'Metrosideros pachysperm'.

but from the more matured capsules now brought down by Dr Thos L Bancroft I am in doubt still it is given in the wood catalogue

at No 52a. as F.v.M. (I have seen no flowers) the log of this was marked R. from Johnstone River.
