The letter is dated to 1886, as the date of collection of Tepper's Logonia, MEL 75458 is given as 1 March 1886 in AVH. In 1886 Easter fell on 25 April, and the letter is dated accordingly.
Indem ich mir alle Erholung während der Festtage entziehe, lieber Herr Tepper, versuche ich einige Freistunden zu erhaschen, um meinen Correspondenten gerecht zu werden.
Bis jetzt habe ich wenig an Neu Guin. - Pflanz. arbeiten können, doch sind die Austellungs-Arbeiten für London beendigt!
