[From a private note which reached this office accompanying a generous supply of seeds for distribution we learn that Baron F. v. Mueller has already made arrangements to obtain regularly from Cambridge Gulf, through one of the members of the Government party a varied collection of botanical specimens to aid in his useful researches into West Australian flora. The Baron we may add is disappointed at the little help he receives from West Australian colonists living in the interior in the way of collections of seeds and plants. Such collections sent to the great Australian botanist might often prove of real practical value.]
