Document is a circular (p. 1479) to the heads of 14 departments (listed p. 1480).
Sir,
I have the honor to forward herewith lists of the officers of the Department of the
Honorable the Chief Secretary shewing changes effected since January last year, and
the corrections, according to information furnished to the Public Service Board.
In order to admit of the publication of new lists during the present month in compliance
with Section 25 of Act 773 I am particularly to request you to be so good as to cause
the lists to be revised and returned to this office during the present week.
Your attention is specially invited to the recorded salaries of officers, which doubtless
in very many instances require alteration owing to the receipt of increments since
the publication of the last record, and I am also to request that the new officers
shown to have been appointed may be placed in their proper relative positions on the
lists.
I have &c
(signed ) Frank Savage
for the Secy
The Under Secretary.
The accompanying list of officers is forwarded to the Government Botanist with a request
that he will be good enough to have it carefully revised in the manner indicated in
the above letter and retun it to me
with the least possible delay
, so that I may be able to comply with the Board's request for the return of the papers this week.
T.R. Wilson
Chief Secretary's Office
Melbourne, 11th January 86.
