Nur ein paar Worte, edler Freund, um Ihnen zu sagen, dass ein Kistchen mit Reptilien,
bei Saberi in Neu Geunea gesammelt eben an Sie abgeht durch die Speditionsfirma des
Mr Tate,
frei
bis Stuttgart. In nächster Woche soll ich die Präsidenten-Rede halten in unserer
Jahres Versammlung der geogr. Gesellschaft hier. Dann ist noch viel für die London Colonial Austellung zuthun. Daher nur noch ein Adieu!

Only a few words, noble friend, to say to you that a small box with reptiles collected
near Saberi in New Guinea is just going off to you through the forwarding firm of
Mr Tate,
free
to Stuttgart. In the next week I shall give the presidential address in our anniversary
session of the geographical Society here.
There is still much to do for the London Colonial Exhibition.
Therefore only just an adieu!
