MS found with a specimen of Eucalyptus bupestrium (MEL 1606592), collected by Mrs Eades (see Maroske & Vaughan (2014), p. 113) at the foot of Stirling Range, WA, 1886. The letter is dated to 1886 on this basis.
I don't know if this plant is rare or new to you, but I have never seen it growing it was gathered by my wifes friend Mrs Eades, and my son 10 years of age 3 miles due West
