See H. Moors to M, 7 October 1885 (in this edition as 85-10-07a). In Victoria, Additional Estimates of expenditure for the year ending 30th June 1886 (Parliamentary paper. B-23), p. 8, presented to Parliament on 3 December 1885, provision was made for £3.0.0 arrears of pay to reflect an annual increment for the 3rd Herbarium Assistant. Parliament at its sitting on the same day concurred.
