Last week, dear Mr Pulsford, the Hamilton-Spectator
evidently on imperfect information criticized some of the Arrangements for the N
Guinea Expedition,
to which with the concurrence of Mr M'Donald
I replied, the Editor having in fairness inserted my letter.
I send you the print,
as possibly the original article, which called forth my reply, may come under the
notice of the Exploration Committee.
